IORP Critical Review 2027.

IORP Critical Reviews have evolved beyond a regulatory reporting requirement to become an increasingly important tool for assessing investment governance, demonstrating value and improving member outcomes.

To explore how Critical Reviews have evolved and how they can continue to support better member outcomes, a group of industry leaders has come together to host a dedicated event for pension scheme trustees and investment advisers. The session will examine emerging regulatory expectations, developments in value for money assessment, investment oversight and cost transparency, and will consider how schemes can optimise their Critical Review processes and reporting for 2027 and beyond.

Programme.

The event will be chaired by Maria Quinlan, Head of WTW LifeSight & DC Business. There will also be key notes speeches from:

  • TBC, Department of Social Protection.
  • Andrew Nugent, The Pensions Authority.

The following industry representatives will be speaking at this event:

  • Ciaran Long, Independent Trustee Director
  • Brian Griffin, Align Advisors
  • Oliver Kelly, LCP
  • Elma Fox, Law Debenture / IIPM
  • Sophie O'Connor, Aon
  • Padraig Flanagan, WTW
  • Richard Clossick, Mercer
